We are meant to be connected to the earth. The earth is energy, and its energy helps to regulate ours.
Grounding does not have to be an elaborate practice. You can simply kick your shoes off and stand foot to earth for a few moments. Want to take it up a notch? Find a cozy spot, kick off their shoes, and take a seat, or lay down. Take a few starter breaths and meditate. See my meditation post for some guidance.
Not always able to get outside, think about investing in an earthing mat. Either one for sleeping or a roll mat similar to a yoga mat to use when you need it. I use one for sleeping. Check out my review here.

Personal Experience:
I personally have seen these results. Once I got my earthing mat, my sleep improved. I had fewer body aches. I recently had to pack it away in moving, and in the few weeks without it, the majority of my pain came back, and sleep was not as good. It was crazy the change. I also noticed variables in my mood from when I could go outside and put my feet on the grass, compared to the colder months when I chose not to.
We radiate so much energy within our bodies, and we are so disconnected from the earth. With concrete everywhere and rubber soles, we have to make the extra effort to connect. But if we do, life gets better.
Try it! Just a few moments a day for a few days, a week. See if you feel any different. The earth can heal so much. Let it heal you.
