Full Moon Journal time...
I have been very lax in my ritual and spell work. Essentially, it has been nonexistent. While I am not beating myself up like I used to for missing a spiritual event, I still feel like I need to fully reconnect. Yes, with nature and grounding, but also with magic and mysticism.
It is time to fix that. And what a wonderful time to do so here in October, with the moon in its full phase, bright and powerful.
My Ritual...
My ritual will include tarot, meditation, manifestation, and banishment. I started with the casting of a circle, cleansing, and meditation.

Most of my ritual was completed on a lake beach surrounded by nature, before a large bonfire and the full moon.
Here I sat before the fire in meditation, danced, and sat with my higher selves.
Tarot...
After my meditation, I did a tarot reading for me and my spouse. Lately, with the cards I have been closing my eyes and shuffling. I ask a question as I shuffle until I either see STOP in my mind’s eye or a card finds its way out of the deck. Whether it be 1, 2, or more, I let them fall and interpret their meaning.
Lots of cards came forth last night and it was a very insightful read.
Banish & Call
Then it was time for my banish and calling ritual. I lit my incense as my candles were already burning and wrote on a small piece of paper what I wished to let go. Speaking this and asking for it to be taken away I set the paper a flame and watched it burn. I visualized all that burdened me, that no longer serviced me rising off of me like smoke until it was gone.
Next, I wrote what I wished to call into my life on another paper, read it aloud, and sealed it with wax. I’ll revisit this at the next full moon.
It felt great to be back in the cycle. I felt so good after my ritual.
