Spell Casting and Magick
I am sure when you think of magick, you think of occult classics like The Craft or series like Sabrina or Charmed. With a wave of your hand, shall your will be done, along with the perfect rhyme to seal the deal? If only, magick was that simple. There is a little more to spell casting than that.
Magick is not so much about waving a wand but about appreciating that around you. It is about seeing the god and goddess in everything around you. It’s about elevating your frequency to vibrate on a higher level, only then will you see true magick.
Magick is...
Magick is a manifestation, thought creates our realm. All that we have, was once thought. You too are a thought. If you want something you have to believe it (and work for it, for the goddess/universe only rewards those that take action). Now, sometimes things don’t work out as planned. For example, you may ask for money to take care of some scary expenses that popped up, instead of winning the lottery, the goddess may present you with an opportunity to earn it. The universe will open doors.
Magick is a beautiful thing. It is the connection between you and the energies around you and using that energy to bring into your life what you need and desire. It’s the creation and attraction of positive energies into your world to assist you in attaining that which you want and need in your life. More on manifestation in another post.
Spell casting Means...
Spell casting means to raise magickal energy to manifest or imprint on the universe our intentions. In spell casting, it is important to be very specific. It is asking, in this case, the universe, goddess, or whatever powers at be that you believe in, to grant you this wish or desire. The process can be elaborate or simple. It can be you writing that which you wish to manifest on a piece of paper and burning it as you visualize it in grave detail the contents of that paper. It can be a few simple words followed by meditation or chanted into a flame. The point, however, is to be clear and specific.
Spell casting has a specific intent, while prayer, like any religion or faith, is more of a conversation with the higher power, universe, or guides for advice or guidance.
